It doesn’t seem like Psalm 23, Daniel, Mission and a party have much in common, but they do! The KFC
kids will be learning lots these last two months of the year.
The Shepherds’ Psalm, Psalm 23 has been the focus of the group throughout most of March. They’ve
learned all about the ways God loves us, takes care of us, gives us the things we need to live, and, will
never leave us. The kids end their study of the Psalm April 8.

Daniel, the great man of faith who fearlessly faced down lions in the lions’ den, is a great example for Christians to follow. We’ll learn all about him and the amazing things he did for God. The Bible treasure verses we want everyone to remember are:
I make a decree, that in all my royal dominion people should
tremble and fear before the God of Daniel:
For he is the living God, enduring for ever.
His kingdom shall never be destroyed, and his dominion has no end.
He delivers and rescues, he works signs and wonders in heaven and on earth;
for he has saved Daniel from the power of the lions.’ Daniel 6:26-27
The main Bible point for the unit is: God lives forever! God does amazing things!

On Mission Sunday (4/29), the kids will get the chance to go to the local missions with their families. The ministries are prepared for the kids to be a part of the experience! There will be no regular KFC
offered on this Sunday.

The KFC year draws to a close May 20. We’ll have an end of the year celebration to remind us of all the
great things we learned about our amazing God this year!
