June 25, we’ll be heading to the great outdoors created by our great God! We’re worshiping and picnicking together at the northern section of Fireman’s Park in Slinger that Sunday for the second year, and we hope you, your family and friends will join us for worship at 10.
We’ll have a picnic following worship. Anyone’s invited! In fact, we’re inviting the whole community to join us. The Outreach Team will have brats, burgers, hotdogs and buns for everyone. We’ll also have soda, water and coffee for folks. Could you please bring side dishes and desserts to share with all in attendance? Could you also please bring extra lawn chairs for people to use? Please make sure you mark them with your name.
Following lunch, we’ll have games and crafts for people of all ages to enjoy. How about a little lawn Jenga, Ladder Ball, Corn Hole Bean Bag toss, Fishing for Marbles? If you’d like to bring an outdoor game along, that’s great too. Please make sure you can identify yours.
If you plan on picnicking with us, we’d love to know how many people are in your group. There’s a sign-up sheet on the narthex bulletin board, or just let any member of the Outreach Team know if you’ll be coming: Alan & Merrilee Lehman, Beth Miller, Rob Schowalter and Pastor Sharon. And there are no worries if you decide you can make it at the last minute! Just come and join in a beautiful day with wonderful friends in your faith community.
