Giving Thanks to the Lord!
God’s love is revealed in all the ways he blesses us day in and day out, moment by moment. Offering thanks to God, as a token of the gratitude we feel, and the appreciation we have for him is our delight.
November 22, the Faith community will give thanks and praise to God during the Sunday worship service. You are encouraged to prayerfully consider making a second mile offering of non-perishable food items at this service. If you prefer, second-mile cash donations, specifically to be shared with the Slinger Food Pantry, may be placed in the offering tower at the rear of the sanctuary throughout the month of November.
The Slinger community will gather to worship and give thanks on Wednesday, November 25 at 7 pm at St. Luke’s for an ecumenical service. Please join brothers and sisters from across the Slinger area as we thank God for all his love and provision. Again, the Slinger Food Pantry will benefit from your offerings of non-perishable food items and/or monetary gifts.
